Gallery

Full-day trip,  duration: 6 hours
Traditional Bulgarian lunch included!

This tour takes you to the picturesque South Bulgarian Black Sea coast in the   ancient town of Apolonia. As you walk on the narrow streets of the peninsula, you will visit the most significant sights in the town, including the “hidden” Church, dated back to 16 AD and will enjoy the best vista to the islands in the Sozopol bay.

After the walking tour follows a lunch at a nice local restaurant. The lunch includes delicious local dishes (salad, soup, main meal and dessert).

Many stories about the ancient Thracians, the clever Greeks, the powerful Romans, the Golden Age of Bulgarian Culture and the Ottomans who settled down in Apolonia will be retold while driving to the town of Sozopol (60km away from Nessebar). You could feel the unique atmosphere of the ancient past by visiting the Archeological museum in Sozopol!
After the lunch you can enjoy a cup of coffee or shopping opportunities in the centre of the Old town.

The trip gives a great chance to see a bit more of the countryside, to achieve knowledge about the history and habits of the Bulgarian nation, to taste some local dishes and to enjoy a day in Bulgaria!

Includes: transfer to Sozopol by a comfortable coach, entrance fees for the Archeological museum and church in Sozopol, lunch (salad, soup, main meal, dessert), guide, transfer back to the port of Nessebar.
